Payton Daly is a cinematographer and Blackmagic Design–certified colorist, as well as a member of the Society of Camera Operators (SOC). She has trained with NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts, USC’s School of Cinematic Arts, the American Society of Cinematographers, the Society of Camera Operators, Parsons School of Design, Manhattan Edit Workshop, and Liquid Motion Academy (underwater camera operating).

Splitting her high school years between Houston and frequent shoots in New York City, she has honed her cinematography across a wide array of projects, from narrative features and movie musicals to a “Trader Joe’s raw chicken horror film.”

Payton regularly color grades films for students at NYU Tisch, USC School of Cinematic Arts, and the University of Texas. She is also a YoungArts winner in film and a National Gold Medalist in the Scholastic Art & Writing Awards
